The art group “BELARUSY" unites five unique, completely different in timbre voices, five bright on-stage personas of different types. Outstanding musicians with the widest vocal range and unique features of each voice are the guarantors of the diversity of our consolidated team. Organizing performances is hard work which has rested on the shoulders of our Director, Alesia Kuznetsova, for more than 15 years. The decent sound design is provided by the sound engineer Pavel Anisimovets who has been faithful to our team since the first year of the band's foundation. Our power is in our unity!

Valery
Shmat
Valery Shmat is the founder and art Director of the band, composer, organist, conductor. He graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music, the Department of Choral Conducting and the Department of Organ. Most of the vocal arrangements are his handiwork, as well as the main original works of “Belarusy”. Valery is the author of the music and lyrics of many of the band's iconic works. As an organist, he also frequently tours Belarus as well as foreign counties. He has composed a lot of songs for children and youngsters. His songs are played at such prestigious contests as “Eurovision”, “New wave”, “Slavianski Bazaar”, etc. Valery sings the baritone parts in the songs of the art group “Belarusy”.

Alesia Kuznetsova is the Director and producer of the art group "Belarusy", Director of the Music Production Center "Golden voices". She has organized more than a thousand concerts and events of different complexity. Tours in Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland and other countries. Cooperation with various ministries and departments of the Republic of Belarus. Work with diplomatic missions of different countries. Negotiations, solving external and internal problems of the band on a global and local scale. Always on top, always perfect, always with a smile and positive!

Zyuskind
Vitaly Zyuskind - lyric tenor. He has the finest musical ear and a fluent reading of sheet music. He took the advantage of the excellent school of the Music Lyceum, Minsk State Musical College named after Glinka, and then the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. Professionals know that the most difficult task is to perform the parts of middle voices, but for Vitaly it is a piece of cake! Responsible, honest, fair. He has been working in the art group "Belarusy" since 2009.

Retivyh
Igor Retivyh - bass. Nature endowed Igor not only with a beautiful velvety timbre, but also with incredible musicality. He feels the sound, lives the lyrics. Loves life in all its forms. Despite the fact that he studied at the Vocal Department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, he copes with polyphony no worse than the most skilled choir singer. In the band since 2009.

Zarovnyadny
Anton Zarovnyadny - tenor. He has mastered the Italian technique of Bel Canto. He often performs parts in the tessitura of tenor-altino. Anton graduated from two universities: the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, the Faculty of Brass Instruments, and the Belarusian State Academy of Music, the Vocal Department. Thanks to Anton the members of the band have become more refined and elegant. A man of principle, educated, hardworking.

Kolosov
Andrey Kolosov - baritenor. He is the winner of numerous vocal projects of national and international significance, artist of musicals, showman. He is versatile in his creative work. He has mastered classical music, jazz, and rock. Andrey has been working as a soloist of the orchestra for many years, so live sound is the norm for him, which our band also adheres to. He likes to travel, leads a healthy lifestyle, is well read, easy to get along with. Always ready to attain new achievements.

Anisimovets
Pavel Anisimovets - sound engineer. He has worked with the band almost since its foundation. With the advantage of higher musical education, Pavel not only perfectly hears the most subtle nuances of the human voice, but also takes an active part in the creative life of the band. He has been a professional arranger for many years and his advice is often very useful for a balanced sound of the band. Ready to meet new challenges.
